It is extremely important to us that all candidates are in the best financial situation and able to protect their own interests and financial commitments when applying to become a Signs Express franchisee.
The typical investment cost for new locations is £45k + working capital.
The full investment amount encompasses all set-up costs, including premises fit-out, equipment, transport, start-up materials and of course your licence fee, training and access to our dedicated franchise support team; on hand to offer advice and support in all areas of the business.
Buying an established business for sale

Our assistance in developing a business plan with you will ensure you have the funds required from the outset to successfully establish your business.
Management service charge
Your initial investment covers everything you need to set-up and run your business. In addition, each month you’ll contribute 1.5% of your turnover towards a National Promotional Fund.
This fund is used specifically for lead generation and brand development activities – making sure Signs Express is front of mind for our potential customers.
Franchisees are also subject to a management service charge levy of 7.5% of turnover which covers dedicated support, licencing and use of the brand.
