Lee Eaton Signs Express (Manchester)

Established in 1997, Lee worked tirelessly with his father to build the business up from scratch in a premium territory, creating the solid foundations that Lee has been able to exploit since he took full ownership in 2012.
Due to Lee’s unwavering commitment, the centre has experienced a 25% growth rate and a dramatic increase in operating profits.

Stephen Lloyd Signs Express (Chester)
It has been really amazing to be able to shape my business around my own lifestyle and ethics. It has been important for me to involve my son and daughter in the business and I am pleased to have created a lucrative legacy for them after I retire.
Signs Express (Chester) was established from a ‘Greenfield’ territory, by Stephen in 2012 and in such a short period of time, he has been able to double his turnover year-on-year.
Before opening the business the area generated regular enquiries, which made it clear that demand was high from the outset. With a territory that covers both rural and urban areas across North Wales and Chester, the breadth of businesses that the centre caters to is very wide and includes lucrative clients like Chester Zoo as well as large industrial businesses.
Stephen has fostered a close-knit team at his unit and has encouraged his son and daughter to enter the fray. His small but reliable team enables him to network freely, whilst trusting his team to keep the centre running smoothly.

Since Jane & her partner Ray Allenby took over an existing centre in Portsmouth at the end of 2014, the pair has turned the operation into something quite spectacular.
Leveraging the number of prestigious businesses based in the region, Jane and Ray have nurtured close relationships with Airbus and Gunwharf Quays, by setting themselves up as the trusted providers of signage in the area.
Today, the centre has achieved beyond everyone’s expectations and in just the first six months of 2015, Jane and Ray tripled their takings compared to the same period in 2014. The couple were also finalists in the British Franchise Association Customer Service Award in 2016 and won the coveted Franchisee of the Year award in 2017 at the Signs Express convention.

Dave & Kim Nurse Signs Express (Leeds)
Although I had extensive management experience, knowing that help and expertise was on hand in all areas of the business from operations to HR, technical support, accounts and marketing was a great comfort.
Originally opened in 2003, husband and wife team Dave and Kim Nurse now employ six staff at their 1981 sq ft unit in Leeds. The main reason they chose to invest in a Signs Express franchise was for the training & support available. They’ve also been able to bring their son, Rick, in to the business who concentrates on business development.
Dave and Kim undertook extensive research before making any investment. They made their decision when it became apparent that owning a franchise operation has a much higher success rate then a sole enterprise. It also allows for greater lending opportunities to finance your investment from all the major banks because of the increased success rate.
