Training

The Signs Express franchise programme covers all aspects of the franchise model to help new franchisees acquire the skills needed to open their production centre doors with confidence.

The four-week residential training course is held at our custom-designed training facility in Norwich, where you will meet the support team and other franchisees. Once your centre is open, additional courses are available for both you and your staff and you will be regularly visited by our business development team.

The programme provides training in accounts, business development, human resources, IT, operations, marketing, technical, and national accounts management; as well as any further assistance in locating premises, centre set-up and fit-out, marketing materials, and staff recruitment.

week one

We provide an insight into the company and the sign industry in general. The week continues with training in sign making materials and Omega sign making software.

week two

We focus on business management including: training in our business process software - Clarity management; accounts and credit control; pricing structures and an overview of managing your business, suppliers and sign fitting.

week three

This is dedicated to practical tasks such as production, vinyl application and material specifications. This week also includes health and safety requirements and human resource information.

week four

We move to sales and marketing techniques and resources and planning the promotion of your centre. The handling of national accounts' work is also a main feature, highlighting key customers and protocols to ensure the utmost quality and service.
